दहेज में 30 लाख की डिमांड करने का आरोप, मामला दर्ज

सिविल लाइन सिरसा पुलिस ने न्यू हाऊसिंग बोर्ड कालोनी निवासी बेबी सिमरो की शिकायत पर उसके पति साहिल खुराना, ससुर जीएल खुराना, सास बिमला खुराना, कशिश खुराना, गरिमा पत्नी नवीन मोंगा व राजेश मोंगा के खिलाफ भादंसं की धारा 406, 498ए के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है।बेबी सिमरो ने बताया कि वह बीटेक पास है और साफ्टवेयर इंजीनियर है। उसने बताया कि उसका संपर्क साहिल खुराना से हुआ, जिसने कनाडा की नागरिकता हासिल होने की बात कहीं थी। दोनों परिवारों के बीच सहमति के बाद उसकी नवंबर में शादी होना तय हुआ। साहिल खुराना ने उसे कनाडा में ही अपने साथ सैटल करने की बात कहीं। उसके परिवार ने भी अनेक लुभावने सपने दिखाएं। चूंकि वह अपने माता-पिता की इकलौती संतान है। इसलिए उनके बाद सारी संपत्ति उसी की है। शिकायतकत्र्ता ने बताया कि 18 नवंबर को साहिल सिरसा आया। इस दौरान उसके परिवार ने पहले से ही कोर्ट में मैरिज करने की तैयारी कर रखी थी। कचहरी में ही शादी की रस्में पूरी की गई। कुछ दिन बाद ही उसने 30 लाख रुपये नगद की मांग की और कहा कि उसे कनाडा साथ लेकर जाना है। जब दहेज में 30 लाख रुपये की मांग का उसने विरोध किया तो उसके पति और ससुरालजनों ने अपने-अपने मोबाइल स्वीच ऑफ कर दिए और घर से फरार हो गए। जबकि साहिल खुराना का 27 नवंबर को विदेश जाने का प्रोग्राम है। पीडि़ता की ओर से पुलिस से शिकायत की गई, जिस पर पुलिस ने सभी आरोपियों के खिलाफ मामला दर्जकर जांच शुरू कर दी है।

A complaint was made by the victim to the police, on which the police registered a case against all the accused and started investigation.
