हरियाणा पुलिस ने मादक पदार्थ तस्करों पर कसी नकेल : डीजीपी

वर्ष 2021 में करोड़ों रुपये की 19 टन ड्रग्स की बरामद, सिरसा में सर्वाधिक 397 मामले दर्ज

हरियाणा को नशा मुक्त राज्य बनाने की राज्य सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता के अनुरूप पुलिस द्वारा साल 2021 में नशा तस्करों पर शिकंजा कसते हुए जनवरी से नवंबर माह तक प्रदेश में कुल 19.03 टन मादक पदार्थ की बरामदगी की गई है। हरियाणा के पुलिस महानिदेशक (डीजीपी) प्रशांत कुमार अग्रवाल ने इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि इस अवधि में मादक पदार्थ अधिनियम के तहत कुल 2361 मामले दर्ज कर भारी मात्रा में नशीला पदार्थ जब्त किया गया। ड्रग्स की तस्करी में संलिप्त नशे के सौदागरों पर ताब?तो?कार्रवाई के परिणामस्वरूप 2021 के पहले 11 महीनों के दौरान हेरोइन, चरस, सुल्फा, स्मैक, अफीम, चूरा व डोडा पोस्त, गांजा सहित 19036 किलोग्राम मादक पदार्थ की बरामदगी की जा चुकी है।डीजीपी ने जब्त मादक पदार्थ का ब्योरा देते हुए बताया कि इस साल काबू किए आरोपियों से 271-किलोग्राम अफीम, 140 किलो से अधिक चरस व सुल्फा, 6931 किलो चूरा व डोडा पोस्त, 8 किलो 218 ग्राम स्मैक, 11666 किलो गांजा और 16 किलो 882 ग्राम हेरोइन बरामद की गई। राज्य नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो और स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स समेत हमारी फील्ड इकाइयों ने अन्य राज्यों से प्रदेश में तस्करी कर आने वाले लगभग सभी प्रकार के मादक पदार्थों की संभावित आपूर्ति को नष्ट कर दिया। हरियाणा को नशा मुक्त राज्य बनाने की सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता के अनुरूप इस दिशा में कार्रवाई की जा रही है।एनडीपीएस अधिनियम के तहत सबसे अधिक 397 मामले सिरसा में दर्ज किए गए, इसके बाद गुरुग्राम में 204, फतेहाबाद में 186, करनाल में 173, रोहतक में 144, हिसार में 130 और कुरुक्षेत्र में 113 मामले दर्ज किए गए।

नशा तस्करों की संपत्ति भी की जा रही अटैच

मादक पदार्थ तस्करों पर कार्रवाई करने के अतिरिक्त, ड्रग तस्करी के जाल पर लगाम लगाने के लिए पुलिस द्वारा एनडीपीएस अधिनियम के तहत दर्ज मामलों में गिर तार आरोपियों की चल-अचल संपत्तियों को भी जब्त करने की दिशा में लगातार कार्रवाई जारी है। पुलिस द्वारा लोगों विशेषकर युवाओं को नशीले पदार्थों के खतरे से बचाने के लिए मादक पदार्थ तस्करों व इस अवैध धंधे में शामिल लोगों के खिलाफ अभियान जारी रहेगा। इसके साथ-साथ, युवाओं को नशीले पदार्थों के दुष्परिणामों और समाज पर उनके समग्र प्रभाव के प्रति जागरूक करने के लिए विशेष अभियान भी चलाए जा रहे हैं।

In line with the commitment of the state government to make Haryana a drug-free state, a total of 19.03 tonnes of narcotic substances have been seized in the state from January to November by the police in the year 2021. Giving information in this regard, Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar Agrawal said that during this period a total of 2361 cases were registered under the Narcotics Act and a huge quantity of narcotic substances were seized. As a result of action against drug dealers involved in smuggling of drugs, 19036 kg of narcotic substances including heroin, charas, sulpha, smack, opium, sawdust and doda poppy, ganja have been recovered during the first 11 months of 2021 Giving the details of the seized narcotics, the DGP said that this year, 271-kg of opium, more than 140 kg of charas and sulpha, 6931 kg of sawdust and doda poppy, 8 kg of 218 grams of smack, 11666 kg of ganja and 16 kg from the accused. 882 grams of heroin was seized. Our field units, including the State Narcotics Control Bureau and the Special Task Force, destroyed the potential supply of almost all types of narcotics smuggled into the state from other states. Action is being taken in this direction as per the government's commitment to make Haryana a drug-free state. Sirsa has the highest number of 397 cases, followed by Gurugram, 204, Fatehabad, 186, Karnal, 173, Rohtak. 144 cases have been registered in Hisar, 130 in Hisar and 113 in Kurukshetra.

The property of drug smugglers is also being attached

Apart from cracking down on drug smugglers, continuous action is being taken by the police to confiscate the movable and immovable properties of the accused in the cases registered under the NDPS Act to check the drug smuggling net. The campaign against drug smugglers and people involved in this illegal business will continue by the police to save the people especially the youth from the menace of drugs. Along with this, special campaigns are also being run to make the youth aware about the ill effects of drugs and their overall impact on the society.
