आगामी पंजाब विधानसभा चुनावों को लेकर पंजाब के ज़िला बठिंडा के प्रवेक्षक नियुक्त किए गए पूर्व ओएसडी मुख्यमंत्री हरियाणा वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता डॉ केवी सिंह एवम् हल्का डबवाली के विधायक अमित सिहाग द्वारा डबवाली में कार्यकर्ताओं की आवश्यक बैठक बुलाई जिसमे बठिंडा देहाती से पार्टी प्रत्याषी हरविंदर सिंह लाडी भी अपने साथिओं सहित पहुंचे।इस अवसर पर अपने संबोधन में डॉ सिंह ने सबसे पहले पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं को गणतंत्र दिवस की बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस प्रकार से महात्मा गांधी जी के पदचिन्हों पर बाबा साहिब ने संविधान बनाया था जिसमे पूरे भारत को धर्म निरपेक्ष राष्ट्र घोषित किया गया था लेकिन आज बीजेपी पार्टी धर्म के नाम पर राजनीति करते हुए धर्मनिरपेक्ष राष्ट्र की नींव कमज़ोर करने में लगी हुई है।

डॉ सिंह ने कहा कि आज बीजेपी विकास के नाम को छोड़,धर्म, जात पात के नाम पर आपस में भेदभाव पैदा कर वोट मांग पांचों राज्यों में होने वाले विधानसभा चुनावों में सत्ता पाना चाहती है जोकि लोकतंत्र के लिए खतरा है। उन्होंने कहा कि पंजाब में इन्दिरा गांधी जी और सरदार बेअंत सिंह जी ने अपने प्राण न्यौछावर कर एकता और अखंडता को बनाए रखा था और आज बीजेपी जैसी पार्टियां धर्म के नाम पर वोट मांग कर फिर से पंजाब जैसे शांतिप्रिय राज्य का माहौल खराब करना चाहती है, ऐसे में हमारा सब का फर्ज बनता है कि इस प्रकार की पार्टियों जो विकास को छोड़ धर्म, जात पात के नाम पर वोट मांग आपसी भाईचारे को खराब कर रहीं हैं इनका जमकर विरोध किया जाए और कांग्रेस जैसी धर्मनिरपेक्ष पार्टी को सत्ता में लाया जाए।

डॉ केवी सिंह ने कहा कि पार्टी हाईकमान ने मुझे जो बठिंडा ज़िले की जिम्मेदारी दी है मैं उसे पूरी निष्ठा से निभाने का काम करुंगा। उन्होंने कहा कि बठिण्डा ही नहीं साथ लगते पंजाब के लंबी,गिद्दड़बाहा मुक्तसर साहिब सभी हलकों में भी वो और उनके पुत्र हल्का डबवाली के विधायक अमित सिहाग अपने कार्यकर्ताओं की ड्यूटियां लगाएंगे ताकि पंजाब में कांग्रेस पार्टी की जीत सुनिश्चित की जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा से चण्डीगढ़ जाने का का रास्ता पंजाब से होकर ही जाता है और अगर पंजाब में कांग्रेस की सरकार बनती है तो हरियाणा में भी कांग्रेस सरकार बनना तय है।

डॉ सिंह ने कहा कि जिस प्रकार से पिछले पांच सालों में पंजाब में कांग्रेस की सरकार के समय पंजाब के सभी नेताओं ने हमारा साथ दिया है और हमारे कार्यकर्ताओं का मान सम्मान किया है ऐसे में हम सबका नैतिक फर्ज बनता है कि हम तन मन से उनका सहयोग कर फिर से पंजाब में जनहितैषी कांग्रेस पार्टी की सरकार बनाएं।

इस अवसर पर विधायक अमित सिहाग ने कहा कि उन्होंने 2019 में विधानसभा हरियाणा के चुनावों में कहा था कि आपका एक वोट आपकी तीन राज्यों की सरकार में भागेदारी सुनिश्चित करेगा। आज फिर उसी नारे पर चलते हुए सब मिलकर पंजाब विधानसभा चुनावों में कांग्रेस प्रत्याशियों का सहयोग समर्थन कर पंजाब में कांग्रेस सरकार बनाएं क्योंकि आने वाले समय में हरियाणा में भी कांग्रेस की सरकार बनने जा रही है।

इस मौके पर भारी संख्या में कांग्रेस पार्टी के कार्यकर्ता मौजूद थे।

Dr Singh said that except in the name of development, today BJP wants to get power in the assembly elections to be held in all the five states by creating discrimination in the name of religion, caste and caste, which is a threat to democracy. He said that Indira Gandhi ji and Sardar Beant Singh ji had maintained unity and integrity in Punjab by laying down their lives and today parties like BJP want to spoil the atmosphere of peace loving state like Punjab again by seeking votes in the name of religion. In such a situation, it becomes the duty of all of us that these types of parties, which are spoiling mutual brotherhood by seeking votes in the name of religion, caste, caste and religion, should be strongly opposed and a secular party like Congress should be brought to power.

Dr KV Singh said that the responsibility of Bathinda district given to me by the party high command, I will do the work of fulfilling it with full devotion. He said that not only in Bathinda, Lambi, Giddarbaha Muktsar Sahib of Punjab adjoining all circles, he and his son Halka Dabwali MLA Amit Sihag would also engage their workers to ensure the victory of Congress party in Punjab. He said that the road from Haryana to Chandigarh goes through Punjab and if the Congress government is formed in Punjab, then the Congress government is sure to be formed in Haryana too.

Dr. Singh said that the way in the last five years, during the Congress government in Punjab, all the leaders of Punjab have supported us and respected the honor of our workers, in such a way, it is our moral duty to do them wholeheartedly. Together again form the government of the people's friendly Congress party in Punjab.

On this occasion, MLA Amit Sihag said that he had said in the assembly elections of Haryana in 2019 that your one vote will ensure your participation in the government of three states. Today again following the same slogan, all together form the Congress government in Punjab by supporting the Congress candidates in the Punjab Assembly elections, because in the coming time, the Congress government is going to be formed in Haryana too.
